dear women who i don't know but shop at your garage sales,
thank you for your generosity, but please don't give my children free toys, dolls, stuffed animals, etc. especially when you didn't ask me if it's okay.
i know my kids are adorable, but that doesn't mean they want a doll with no eyes and no legs. and when you do give it to them? don't look at me and say, "you might wanna throw that in the washing machine when you get home." really? i might wanna throw it in the trash!
here's a thought: if it doesn't sell, donate it to goodwill—that's a much better home than it will probably end up having after it comes into my [kids'] possession.

eeeewwwww..... that's so weird! and gross! i've gotten a couple stuffed animals at garage sales, but the place was VERY clean, and it went right in the washer when i got home.

ewww...I am SO with you, if it is JUNK, THROW IT! We had a similar thing happen at a sale last week. It never made it to the house- straight to garbage!
