not me! monday

happy monday! it's time for not me! this blog carnival was created by MckMama. you can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

here's what has NOT been happening around here:

a couple weeks samantha did NOT ask me if we live in “an apartment or a downsizing?” i did NOT have to contain my laughter when I replied, “no, we don’t live in an apartment or a downsizing honey, we live in a townhouse. (seriously, where did DOWNSIZING come from?!)

in all my excitement to go garage saling with my sis on friday, i did NOT lock myself out of the house. i had NOT gotten the kids buckled in the car when i went to reach in my purse for my keys only to realize that they were still NOT in the house. and the front door was NOT locked. so i did NOT have to get the kids back out of the car and walk down to the maintenance office and pay $10 for them to come unlock our door.

this week i did NOT walk into the kitchen to find ryan sucking on lid of the trash can. you know, the one that raw chicken scraps and egg shells go into. ewww...

we are so NOT addicted to cereal that we did not buy 10 boxes of cereal.... when we already had 15 boxes of cereal at home. so we do NOT have 25 boxes of cereal in our pantry now. hmmm...i wonder what i should have for breakfast?!

i did NOT finally vacuum for the first time in about 4 weeks(!) the other day, only to find ryan sweeping the carpet with the dusty broom after i had put the vacuum away. i did NOT decide to not vacuum it again since the carpet didn't look dirtier than it had before i vacuumed!

i did NOT buy samantha a teeny little teaset at a garage sale, so in the last 2 days we have NOT had 3 tea parties. she is NOT the bestest little hostess! and yesterday after she had a tea party with her nana and papa, she did NOT make them pay her 50 cents each. she is also NOT very sly!

so what have you NOT done this week? go ahead--have fun and fess up!

The downsizing comment had me cracking up.

And I love that she charged them! She may be a great businesswoman one day!

Happy Monday!

Elijah is well known in these parts for charging granparents for his lemonade stands. My dad? Once gave him $10.xx and another time he profited over $12. Seriously.
Sometime this nutso week I will email you about the garage sales!

Way to go Samantha for making some money while having fun! I bet her grandparents would have even paid more! How can you resist her? She is so stinkin' cute... tell her next time to ask for $1 each!
