13/52 photo challenge

first of all, let me start by saying that i have slacked for the last 2 weeks on the picture of the week challenge. i will do those someday...

but as for this week, FOOD is the category. i didn't cook at all this week, except for the stouffer's pour contents of bag into the pan and heat for 15 minutes meal that i cooked tonight. ahem. so i didn't really have any foods worth capturing this week. well, except for when i went to margarita's for tacos with my sis-in-law. but i totally didn't think about taking a picture of the best tacos in the world because we were too busy talking about stellan. i digress.

instead i decided to take a picture of one of my our new favorite desserts.

one bowl of mixed frozen fruit...

topped with vanilla flavored yogurt...

and all mixed together!

YUM! it's incredibly delicious, and has also been said to taste better than ice cream! the only thing that could make this cool treat better is a nice hot warm day!

ok heather, this is coming from someone who used to HATE yogurt! but i finally found some that doesn't have the yucky after taste so i'm gonna have my fridge stocked for you when you come so you can try it too! :-)

That is one of my best friends favorite breakfast meals! If I liked the taste of yogurt? I'd be all over it. Maybe with cool whip? YUM!
Hey, just read your comment~ what is the "no yucky moldy after taste yogurt" you claim to have found? Do tell.

seriously i used to absolutely hate yogurt. then a couple months ago i decided to try it again after rave reviews from bob on the biggest loser!

so for the no yucky yogurt taste, i turn to yoplait light. but only certain flavors. my absolute favorite is raspberry cheesecake. and blackberry is really good too. strawberry and vanilla are also good. that is the extent of the flavors i've tried that i like. stay away from the boston cream pie and pineapple upside down cake flavors. YUCK! one bite and those met the trash.

also, fiber one brand yogurt is good too. strawberry and peach. that didn't seem to have the moldy taste!

and if you still want to kill some of the yogurty taste, dip animal crackers in it then eat them. that is one of my favorite snacks now!

I used to hate yogurt too but awhile back I needed to try some Activia, ahem, and so I had to try it again.

You are all probably going to think I'm crazy but every time I eat vanilla yogurt I throw a small handful of chocolate chips in it - so good!

I don't hate yogurt as much now but it's way better with chocolate chips in it! haha
